Hello fellow Fulger fanatics!
We are very pleased to welcome AniaJag to the admin team and to announce that some very large changes will be happening to the group over the next couple of months! The breed has been bumbling along for long enough, and it's time!
The both of us will be working to update and complete a full overhaul of the breed in hopes to get the breed active once more. We will be keeping the initial vision of the founders in mind while updating, creating a fun, carefree community that is still structured and organized.
Breedsheets and journals will be updated with current breed standards and information in attempts to make the breed more friendly towards new players and organized.
At the end of this all, there will be some shiny new imports (as well as some old veterans!) looking for a new home!
Please sit tight while we implement these changes, and I hope to see you all around soon!

Tapir here.
Long time, no speak. First off, I've been pretty disappointed with the lack of activity within the breed.. so I'm here to start making amends to that.
There will be a few changes coming over the next few weeks.. I'll be redoing the ID list, Working on Reclaims, and making sure those horses get a new home as well as creating an Info template to make sure all the required information is on all references.
I'll also be looking into the point system, and seeing what I can do to make that become a thing again
Might be host a show once I get things figured out a little bit, however no new imports are currently being created. You may continue to breed as usual!
Let me know if there is anything I can do.
Tapir.

Hello Fulger fans!
It's Tapir I know I haven't been around a lot in these past few months and for that I deeply apologize... School started and I've been absolutely swamped with school work (Yay AP Art! .-.) and been dealing with a really tough home situation that I won't bore you with the details. That aside, Britt has asked me to take over the ID/Registration list and ownership transfers which I have been happy to do. I'd just like to give a quick rundown of how I'll be dealing with the new references and updating the list;
- I've changed it so each ref folder needs to have the references accepted by an admin, namely me, this is makes it a lot easier for me to keep track of references and appropriately update the list. I watch a LOT of groups and people, so I tend to mass delete things from my inbox, and I really don't want to skip over any important fulger references!
- I understand that this brings up the question of "what happens if my submission expires?" I will be doing EVERYTHING I can to prevent that, and I plan to schedule time during my week to go through and accept references. I plan to check twice a week on TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS and then whenever I have time. I only ask that submit as normal, and I will do my best
Anyway, I hope to see you guys around and feel free to message me or the group if you have any questions.
Happy early holidays, and stay warm,
Tapirus <3

Hey guys, I've been noticing that there was no folder for the designs everyone has been creating. Please resubmit them to the "Member Created Designs" folder

Hello wonderful Fulger people! As you may have noticed, The ID list has been reworked, now including names and links to references. This will continue!
Secondly, PLEASE make sure that you include your horses' ID number in either the name, or the description. It's very crucial for registration!
Also, take note of the reminder below, keep those pretty designs coming!
I am thrilled to announce I received a position as admin with the group, and decided to make a little blurb to introduce myself and talk about some changes you're probably already experiencing!
Hi. My name is Tapirus, but you can call me Tapir . I'm a bit of an introvert, so I'll be doing a lot of the behind-the-scenes work, such as registration and other organizational stuffs. Overall I'm friendly and do enjoy meeting new artists! I'm in love with the Fulger breed, and I'm hoping I can help contribute to it's greatness. I have a couple ideas to help us improve!
If you have any questions or wanna chat, feel free to note me!

Hey guys, quick note for you all. I know that some designs have gone through with having dark hooves, and that's been a mistake on our part. ALL hooves on the Fulger breed are supposed to be light, no matter the base color. So no dark hooves, no striping, no nothing! If you could could please go through and make the changes, we would really appreciate it We'll be going through all the refs and designs in the next little bit and double checking them all.
Thanks so much,
The Fulger Admin

Colors
American Fulgers come in all natural base colors. All known dilutions and most modifiers are present in the breed. No color is rarer than the other, and they all cost the same when purchasing an import. Chimera is extremely rare and as such will ONLY be present in imports (cannot be bred on). Somatic mutations (bloody shoulders etc.) are rare but do occur.
Strikes
These white markings are what gives the Fulger its name. All Fulgers must have at least one strike, but it is more common
